“Robert is very knowledgeable, kind & approachable as well as his staff. From Sylvia to Daniel, they’re always very nice in answering all my concerns. I had no trouble with my USCIS interview because their team made sure that me & my husband were prepared. Robert was highly recommended to me by a Lawyer i know. I’m glad i took her advice and went to seek Roberts assistance regarding my marriage based green card. Got my approval the same day after the interview. I will be getting his assistance with all my immigration concerns including my childrens petition. I highly recommend Robert! He’s the best! 😊👍🏻”

  • Robert helped us file the waiver and it was approved today

“My husband and I had a very complicated I601 and I212 waiver case and had to hire an attorney no matter what. With Robert’s guidance and expertise we were able to put together a very strong argument as to why my husband couldn’t live in Costa Rica and why he needed me with him. Robert helped us file the waiver and it was approved today, November 21st 2013!!!”

  • The Best Lawyer

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Atty. Robert Milla, Ms. Sylvia and the rest of the staff of Milla Law firm. The team was of great help in processing my papers and documents, from the application of my Green Card until the application of my U.S. Citizenship. Not to mention how patient Mr. Robert Milla was when answering my questions and paying attention into knotting all the loose ends to make sure that everything goes well for me to achieve the outcome I was aiming for. I would definitely recommend Robert Milla Law Firm not only for his compassion and empathetic demeanor in relating to his clients but also because of his undeniable skills in handling cases in immigration. His assistants are also commendable for being so helpful and attentive. Until now I'm still overwhelmed that I immediately got the schedule of my Oath Taking Ceremony few days after my interview for the application of my U.S. Citizenship. I have no regrets in seeking legal help and advice from this office, and I will definitely hire their service for the petition of my family.”

  • As of today I am a proud and happy American citizen

“After 4 years of anguish of what will happen with my case I almost had given up. I kept thinking I had ruined it for my kids and we might have to go back. I met Robert when I was almost burned out from all the worries. It felt like meeting an old friend and we had a talk and went through options. He leaves the big words when he works to get the case done, not to show you that he is a great lawyer. But if you trust your heart you will see that you just got lucky stumbling on him. No false promises, I knew all the time where my case was standing and the risks I could face. He thinks ahead and covers all the gaps to get the case done. Later I learned that he actually teaches immigration classes as well but even when he is busy he gets right back to you answering your questions and giving updates. I am very happy I had Robert by my side in my most difficult time and will always keep wishing him well. Thank you Robert you will always have a fond place in our hearts : )”

  • Great attorney and a great human being!

“Robert is one of the best and most trustworthy attorneys I have ever met or worked with. What separates Robert from others is his commitment to winning and his willingness to fight for you, regardless of how hard it might get or how long it takes. He does not use his law degree or the severity of a case to intimidate you or, unlike some, he does not use fear as a way of getting you to hire him. Instead, you can sense from the get-go that he does this as a matter of calling: he wants to help people win their immigration battles because it is the right thing to do. He is down to earth, relatable, yet very effective. His ability to use language seamlessly to drive a point home was quite remarkable and refreshing to see. He is tactful, but does not shy away from stating the facts aggressively and in a manner that makes the arguments stick. This is not something many attorneys know how to do. He was also very responsive and very sensitive to avoid misunderstandings in any regard. He asked and listened to the feedback and was not focused on anything else but to get the job done--which is both rare and extraordinary. He was also very flexible with payments and the entire process. Robert is a down to earth, caring guy and a very, very competent attorney who will take care of you. We hope to work with him again in the future and would strongly recommend him to you, as well.”

  • Excellent Lawyer!!

“It was a great opportunity for having Robert Milla as my lawyer in adjusting my immigration status. I highly recommend him!! I consulted few lawyers before but when the first time I met Robert, I felt so comfortable and decided to hire him right away. I am really thankful and very satisfied with his services. Until now I still can't believe that it's not even a week after the interview, I got my Green Card so quickly! I will definitely continue my business with him until I get my citizenship and to help out my family to get here in the US. And also his assistant, Maria did a great job on helping me and answering all my questions regarding my case.”

  • Successful case for marriage-based green card

“Milla & Associates delivers an incredible quality of legal representation and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Robert Milla, Tatiana Alonso, and their team. My husband and I entrusted them with my adjustment of status and green card application. Our case was handled very efficiently, they answered our questions at every stage and kept us informed of the next steps and developments throughout the process. Not only that, Robert is highly experienced and has an incredible understanding of immigration law on top of being genuine, personable and transparent. It is really hard to be able to find a good attorney that genuinely cares about the case, he is trustworthy, and I can tell that he does his work with his heart. My adjustment of status/green card was approved within a week from the interview, and I received my conditional green card in the mail a few days after receiving the approval notice. Robert and his team definitely made the entire process seamless. I would strongly recommend Robert Milla for anyone who is looking for a great immigration attorney and to be put in the best position possible with obtaining a green card. Thank you, Robert, for making my husband and I feel at ease as we navigated through uncharted waters. We are so grateful for you!”
